With all the evidence on her body, Firestar must hide the truth of her previous night with Brambleclaw from Cloudtail, who begins to suspect and worry about her... unaware of the shock that awaits him.
Inside the den, Cinderpelt worked with skilled paws, applying herbs and ointments to Firestar’s marks.
The medicine cat sensed something was amiss, at least judging by the blush on her leader’s cheeks that didn’t fade with each touch she made to clean the wounds.
Cinderpelt continued applying the ointment to Firestar’s skin, but she did so with a care that was no longer entirely professional. Each touch seemed deliberately softer, slower, seeking a reaction that hadn’t fully arrived yet. The atmosphere in the medicine cat’s den felt intimate, almost cozy, as if the rest of the forest disappeared around them. Both shared more than words, a silent connection that had been forged over the years, but now it was charged with something different.
“You know?” Cinderpelt said with a light smile, as if they were chatting about anything else. “You don’t usually come to see me for something as small as wounds.” Her fingers gently caressed an area near Firestar’s hip, pressing just enough to notice the slight tremor that ran through the leader. “Or is there something else bothering you?”
Firestar bit her lip, trying to keep her composure.
“No, it’s nothing, I just… needed to make sure everything was okay,” she replied, her voice sounding a bit tense. She tried to make it sound casual, but the slight tremor in her voice betrayed her. Cinderpelt raised an eyebrow, continuing her work, as if she hadn’t noticed anything unusual.
“Hmm, are you sure? Because… it seems like these herbs are affecting you more than usual.” Cinderpelt pressed a little closer to one of the wounds, keeping her gaze on Firestar’s face, noticing how her cheeks turned even redder. “Or is there something you’re not telling me, Firestar?”
Firestar took a deep breath, trying to relax. “N-no… everything is fine. It’s just… the wounds, you know.” But her voice cracked just at the end, and Cinderpelt couldn’t help but smile a little.
“Aha…” Cinderpelt said, feigning concentration as she applied more ointment to the areas where she knew Firestar was more sensitive. The leader closed her eyes tightly, struggling not to make a sound. “Well, if you say so, I’ll believe you… although…” The medicine cat let her voice trail off as her fingers continued their task, this time slower, exploring calmly. Firestar shivered, and Cinderpelt noticed it immediately.
“Ah…” a soft moan escaped from Firestar, and she clenched her teeth, clearly annoyed with herself for letting it out. “Cinderpelt, no… it’s not what it seems. I swear.”
Cinderpelt paused for a moment, her fingers resting on Firestar’s warm skin. “Really? Because… well, it seems like something more is bothering you.” Her words were soft, almost playful, but there was a serious undertone. “Come on, Firestar. What’s going on?”
“No… it’s nothing, I promise,” Firestar insisted, though now her breathing was heavier, and the blush on her face was undeniable. “I’m just… ahh… tired, that’s all.”
Cinderpelt watched her carefully, then smiled softly, leaning in a bit closer.
Firestar looked away, her body trembling slightly under Cinderpelt’s touch. “It’s nothing, really. Besides… nothing should be happening now, with how the clan is, don’t you think?” she said quietly, clearly uncomfortable with the situation. But her words were still accompanied by soft gasps she couldn’t control.
Cinderpelt let out a small laugh, tender but slightly mocking. She gently caressed the area where she had applied the ointment, causing another shiver in her friend.
“Alright, alright… Just tell me how you feel…”
Cinderpelt finished applying the ointment for a moment, her paws stopping abruptly, and Firestar, who had barely managed to keep her composure, opened her eyes, a bit confused by the sudden pause.
“Cinderpelt?” Firestar murmured, her breathing still a bit ragged. “Why did you stop? Is something wrong?”
Cinderpelt didn’t say anything at first, as if she were thoughtful, but suddenly, with a mischievous smile on her face, she resumed applying the ointment, this time with a firmness she hadn’t used before. Her paws deliberately pressed against Firestar’s sensitive skin, and in an almost playful move, she gently squeezed, as if she were grabbing a buttock.
“A-Aaah…~!” Firestar let out a moan, completely surprised, her eyes wide open.
“Aha! You’re in heat!” Cinderpelt suddenly exclaimed loudly, with no subtlety.
Firestar’s face instantly turned red, and in a reflex action, she raised her front paws, trying to cover Cinderpelt’s mouth nervously.
“No, no, no! Ha ha ha, of course not! What do I need a treat for, you say?” she stammered quickly, loudly looking sideways to see if anyone had heard her, commenting nervously with her agitated voice. Only to look back at her friend a moment later, in a more serious and embarrassed tone, “Don’t say that so loud!”
Cinderpelt, however, didn’t seem impressed by Firestar’s attempts to silence her. With a soft laugh, she removed her friend’s paws and gave her a knowing look. “Come on, Firestar. You can’t hide it from me. There’s no need to deny it.”
Firestar, completely blushing and with her heart racing, looked at Cinderpelt not knowing what to say.
“It’s not what you think!” she insisted, but her voice came out broken by nerves. “I… it’s just the pain… it’s… not that…” She felt trapped between embarrassment and discomfort, but Cinderpelt’s touch and her own reaction had been more than revealing.
Cinderpelt let out a laugh, this time completely relaxed, applying a bit more of the ointment, though without the same pressure as before.
“Firestar, come on, if you could only see your face… Do you really think you can hide it from me? You know there’s nothing wrong with that, right?”
“Cinderpelt, please!” Firestar continued to struggle to contain her embarrassment, her face completely red. “It’s not like that! It’s just that yesterday… I got hurt, yes, that’s all. It was during training and…”
Cinderpelt let out a mocking laugh, her smile widening as she shook her head slightly.
“Yeah, right… ‘training’. Sure, sure…” she replied, clearly amused by the situation. Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she gave another gentle touch to Firestar’s reddened skin, “Come on, Firestar, it’s not hard to guess what happened for you to be like this.”
Firestar closed her eyes for a moment, hoping she wouldn’t guess what was really going on… she also wouldn’t know how to explain about Tigerstar.
But Cinderpelt, with a mischievous smile, glanced towards the leader’s den, where Brambleclaw was stretching lazily after a prolonged rest.
“So… how was your private night with Brambleclaw?” she asked in a tone as casual as if they were chatting about hunting.
“Cinderpelt!” Firestar exclaimed, her face burning as she buried her head under her paws, completely mortified. The leader of ThunderClan was torn between embarrassment and guilt. It wasn’t just the fact that she had let herself be carried away by desire with Brambleclaw, but what she had felt that night of pleasure now felt like a heavy burden.
Because although Firestar was a single cat and the leader of her clan, Tigerstar, the cat she had seen die, still dominated her and made it clear who he was… her true mate.
In her dreams, he returned, claiming her in a way that left her broken, and no matter how hard she tried to forget him, the brutality with which he took her in those nightmares haunted her, a reality she couldn’t share even with her best friend.
But after what she had last dreamed… she felt that perhaps he wasn’t so bad.
Or at least, that she could change him.
Cinderpelt, meanwhile, continued working in silence, but noticing Firestar’s sudden silence, her mocking smile faded a bit.
“What kind of relationship do you have with Brambleclaw, Firestar?” she asked, though she did so with the tone of someone who already knows the answer but expects to hear the confession.
“I… I don’t… uhm… it’s complicated…” Firestar stammered, not daring to look at her. Her mind was clouded by the confusion of what she truly felt. It had only been a one-night thing, but she was embarrassed to say it, she would sound like an easy kitten.
Cinderpelt, however, was not convinced.
“Aha…” she murmured with a mischievous smile on her lips, while watching out of the corner of her eye how Firestar remained completely flushed and nervous. Then, in a gesture she couldn’t help, she started cleaning her paws, where a trace of Firestar’s semen still stained her fur.
“Complicated, huh?” she said with a touch of sarcasm, but without real malice. “Well, before you worry about complications, maybe you should take a good bath first. Your… affairs with the males you sleep with are your business, after all. Not all of us can have that kind of ‘privilege’…” Cinderpelt commented in an apparently carefree tone, although deep down there was a hint of jealousy.
Unlike her leader, as the clan’s medicine cat, Cinderpelt couldn’t afford to have a mate or even a close relationship of that kind. She had accepted her fate long ago, but that didn’t mean she didn’t feel a pang of longing from time to time.
After finishing the treatment, Cinderpelt gave Firestar a final glance, giving her a light but complicit smile. “Go through the secret passage I showed you. No one will see you there, and the river will help you refresh. Don’t forget to clean… everything,” she commented with a low laugh and a wink, as if the little secret between friends made them even closer.
Firestar, still blushing and nervous, nodded. She slipped out of the medicine cat’s den, making sure no one saw her, and silently headed towards the hidden passage that would lead her to the small river surrounded by brush. As she advanced, her mind was a tangle of thoughts and emotions. The coolness of the night air did not help to calm the heat she still felt in her body or the guilt that suffocated her.
As she walked, she let out a frustrated sigh.
“How could I let this happen? I’m the leader of ThunderClan!” she thought, cursing her weakness. The memory of the previous night was still embedded in her mind, like a thorn she couldn’t pull out.
The intensity with which Brambleclaw had touched her body, the way he had made her lose control… It was as if every bite, every caress, every moan had ignited something inside her that she couldn’t extinguish.
“One night… it was just one night…” she repeated to herself. But those words did not console her, nor did they make her feel better.
She tried to remember her duty as a leader, the responsibility she had towards her clan. Hunger was becoming increasingly evident among her warriors; tensions with neighboring clans continued to rise, and the crucial decisions she needed to make weighed on her mind. She couldn’t afford to be distracted. She couldn’t afford to feel… something so personal, so intimate, and much less at a time like this.
And yet, she couldn’t stop thinking about Brambleclaw. His image was still there, haunting her. How he had bitten her breasts with an intensity that had made everything inside her tremble, how his breath had burned on her skin.
Remembering those moments made her paws tremble, and she had to stop for a moment to catch her breath, leaning against a tree. She closed her eyes, trying to calm herself, but the images were still there, assaulting her mind.
With a trembling sigh, she hit the tree bark with her paw.
“Grrrr… I can’t go on like this!” she screamed in her mind. “Tigerstar…”
She saw him clearly, as real as if he were alive again. The way he possessed her in her dreams, the power he had over her… Every time she dreamed of him, she felt his strength, his dominance, and when she woke up, she was exhausted… but also satisfied. Satisfied in a way she didn’t fully understand, but that filled her with a strange calm.
“…He… wants to be good. Calm down, Firestar… you know well that now… you are his. You are Tigerstar’s… Yes, that’s it… That’s it…”
Firestar sighed, much calmer.
“I don’t need anyone else. Tigerstar is enough…”
“Did you say Tigerstar?”
A slight rustling of branches made her turn abruptly. She was not alone.
Firestar turned her head slowly, and her heart skipped a beat when she saw the white figure of Cloudtail just a meter away. He was holding a bunch of herbs in his muzzle, but he had dropped them to the ground, his eyes fixed on her, with a mix of surprise and confusion.
Firestar felt like the whole world stopped. Time became heavy, dense, as they both looked at each other without saying a word. Cloudtail’s eyes descended, scanning her body, and then he saw it: the semen stains still visible on her fur. His muzzle moved slightly, as if trying to process what he was seeing. The surprise on his face was evident, but he said nothing. He didn’t need to. His gaze said it all.
Firestar felt the heat rise to her cheeks again, a wave of shame so intense that she could barely breathe. She wanted to scream, wanted to find an excuse, anything that would allow her to get out of that situation with some dignity, but her body did not react.
Her paws trembled, her heart beat so fast she felt it might explode at any moment.
Cloudtail’s gaze scanned Firestar’s body, noticing the obvious trace of semen still visible on her fur. His ears twitched nervously, as if trying to process what he was seeing and hearing.
Shame immediately invaded Firestar, and her body reacted before her mind could think of an excuse. Her whole body vibrated with pure discomfort and, unable to bear the situation any longer, she turned abruptly and ran towards the river, leaving behind a confused Cloudtail.
As she ran, her heart pounded, and she couldn’t help but curse herself over and over again.
«This can’t be happening to me!» she thought, her skin burning with shame as she tried to reach the river as quickly as possible.
Firestar ran as if her paws couldn’t move fast enough. The cold morning air whipped her face, but it did nothing to cool the burn of her shame.
Each step was a stronger beat of her heart, and the feeling that Cloudtail had seen her in her most vulnerable state, with her words about Tigerstar echoing in the air, made her feel like her whole world was crumbling.
«How could I be so stupid?» she reprimanded herself as the landscape blurred around her. Shame hit her like wave after wave. Not only had Cloudtail heard her talking about Tigerstar (Tigerstar of all cats!) but he had also seen her with Brambleclaw’s semen still staining her fur. The image of her nephew in shock did not leave her.
“What shame…!” she said to herself, biting her lip. She tried not to think about what kind of conclusions Cloudtail might be drawing at that very moment.
Finally, she reached the small river hidden among the brush. The sight of the crystal-clear water made her stop, her chest rising and falling rapidly as she tried to catch her breath. The leaves crunched under her paws, but all Firestar could hear was the echo of her own ragged breathing.
She approached the edge of the water and, with a long sigh, let herself fall next to the bank. She looked at her reflection in the river, seeing how the moon illuminated her still flushed face. Her eyes shone with confusion and fatigue. Despite the urgency to wash her fur, Firestar took a moment to observe herself. There she was, the leader of ThunderClan, emotionally shattered, caught between her repressed desires and the responsibility she carried on her shoulders.
She dipped a paw into the cold water, watching the ripples spread across the surface as her thoughts intertwined.
She plunged into the river, submerging her body completely, the icy water covering her immediately. The cold made her gasp, but at least it helped clear her mind for a moment. As she rubbed her fur, cleaning the traces of the previous night, she couldn’t help but think about how everything had become so complicated.
But no matter how hard she tried to drown those thoughts in the water, the emotions remained clinging to her like invisible claws. Her private life was becoming a mess she didn’t know how to get out of, and she wanted her clan to know about it even less.
“What if Cloudtail told everyone…? Or if Brambleclaw tried to do the same…?” she started to worry, already seeing herself as an easy cat that the whole clan could mock, and thus losing all the respect she had earned since she arrived as a kittypet.
She tried to calm herself for a moment and sighed.
“They… wouldn’t do something like that…”
As she emerged from the water, she shook her wet fur. She was clean now, with no trace of Tigerstar or Brambleclaw on her body.
Even if some rumor spread, she could convince Cloudtail one way or another, and she knew Cinderpelt would keep her secret. She just needed to return to the clan and start her daily duties. Firestar moved carefully with her eyes closed while shaking the water off her paws, until she felt the touch of wet moss on her muzzle.
“You look agitated… refresh yourself a bit.”
“Ah… yes, thank you.” Firestar said, taking the moss carefully, slowly opening her eyes.
It was Cloudtail.
Firestar opened her mouth, but couldn’t find the words.
Cloudtail stared at her, his gaze scanning Firestar’s now wet fur, noticing how she had hurried to clean herself. The silence between them became uncomfortable, almost unbearable. Finally, it was Cloudtail who broke the quiet, dropping the herbs he had gathered.
“Firestar… are you okay?” he asked softly, as if he couldn’t believe what he had just heard earlier.
Firestar looked down, embarrassed and not knowing what to say. But Cloudtail didn’t move, waiting for an answer.
Firestar felt the cold air hit her face as the silence between them stretched on. Cloudtail’s words still echoed in her mind, and for a moment, something inside her wanted to confess everything, admit what she had done, what she had felt.
But she couldn’t. As a leader, she didn’t have the luxury of faltering. The weight of responsibility always crushed her, and at that moment, it was no different.
She let out a low growl, almost involuntarily, as she abruptly moved away from Cloudtail.
“I don’t need more problems or suitors, Cloudtail!” she exclaimed, her voice filled with a mix of frustration and fatigue. “I have enough with leading this clan. I can’t deal with… this right now.”
Cloudtail, surprised by the intensity of her words, took a step back. His gaze reflected the confusion and concern he felt, but Firestar didn’t give him time to respond. She knew she had been unfair, that Cloudtail hadn’t done anything wrong, but the weight of everything that had happened overwhelmed her, and she needed space.
She turned quickly, dropping the moss to the ground, not caring that the warrior was still watching her.
“You don’t have to worry about me, I’m fine,” she murmured, though she didn’t fully believe it herself. “I don’t want to talk about this, Cloudtail. Not now, not with you. I’m busy.”
The silence that followed was dense, and Firestar could feel Cloudtail’s eyes on her, analyzing every movement, seeking answers. However, her firm stance and avoided gaze spoke more than any words.
She needed to escape from this before it was too late, she thought as her body tensed.
Cloudtail tried to approach again, picking up the moss from the ground, as if that simple act could serve as a bridge between them.
“I just wanted to know if you were okay, Firestar,” he said softly, his voice filled with genuine concern.
But Firestar couldn’t afford to give in. She still felt the confusing and contradictory emotions that Tigerstar and Brambleclaw had left her with; the echo of that night still lingered in her mind, and if she opened that door, if she allowed Cloudtail to probe further, everything could crumble. She couldn’t afford to be vulnerable, not at this moment.
With a deep sigh, Firestar adopted a more serious attitude, lifting her head with a posture that reminded her of the leader she needed to be, not the confused cat she had been a few hours earlier.
“Maybe I’ll explain… later,” she said in a tone that tried to end the conversation, though she couldn’t help but let a final whisper of guilt seep into her words.
Without waiting for a response, Firestar quickened her pace, leaving Cloudtail behind, alone by the river. Her paws hit the ground with determination, but her mind was still in chaos.
She knew she had left Cloudtail with more questions than answers, and that last look, with his ears down, said it all. But she didn’t have the time or energy to deal with it now.
«There were more important things to worry about», she thought, forcing herself to focus on her return to the camp.
As she walked away, the river faded into the distance, and with it, the image of Cloudtail.
However, Cloudtail remained by the riverbank, his paws tracing patterns in the wet earth, feeling trapped in a whirlwind of thoughts he couldn’t untangle.
His concern was genuine.
The image of Firestar walking away, her wet fur glistening in the dawn light, haunted him like a shadow. Every movement of hers was etched in his mind, every gesture echoing like a troubling echo.
The mix of emotions that invaded him confused him, and his heart pounded, overflowing in an internal battle he didn’t know how to face.
“She’s the leader of ThunderClan, as a warrior… I just want her to be okay.”
He tried to convince himself of that.
Firestar’s words before she left echoed in his mind.
That phrase hit him like a thunderbolt, but the frustration he had seen on her face had been unmistakable; it was a reflection of a deeper conflict, something he couldn’t fully understand.
“Maybe…” he thought, as he traced the moss left on the ground over the wet earth, “maybe she’s dealing with something she’s not telling me.”
Jealousy began to bubble within him.
Brambleclaw and Tigerstar.
Why is she having problems with both? One of them is dead, and the other… was just another warrior in the bunch.
“Why does she let herself be dragged down by those cats?” he thought. “Tigerstar was the enemy of all of us, and Brambleclaw… not long ago he had stopped being an apprentice.”
… But above all.
Why can’t her heart stop beating for either of them…?
On the other hand, as he traced in the earth, Cloudtail watched his aunt leave, his thoughts becoming increasingly erratic.
Cloudtail felt guilty for the way his mind spun in circles, each thought wearing him down a little more.
“I just… wanted to help her, but I don’t know how,” he murmured to himself, his voice barely audible amid the murmur of the nearby river.
The river’s current became a distant echo of his own doubts. He knew Firestar needed his support, but he felt trapped in a sea of contradictory emotions.
His desire to be the support she needed clashed with the reality of his hidden feelings.
“What would Firestar say if she discovered how I feel about her?”
The question haunted him, lurking like a dark shadow in his mind. The idea that she might see him as something more than just a nephew, or a clan warrior, filled him with uncertainty.
It was a secret he guarded jealously, a burning flame he kept locked deep within himself. And even more so because of his relationship with Brightheart…
“I just need to focus on protecting her,” he repeated to himself, a mantra that tried to drown out his emotions. But the desire to be more than just a guardian intertwined with his thoughts, leaving a trail of confusion he couldn’t ignore.
Despite his efforts to keep his focus on his duty, images of Firestar invaded his mind. The way she moved, the light that shone in her eyes, the gleam of her fur under the sun… it all seemed to intensify in his heart. Frustration grew, and he couldn’t help but wonder if he would ever have the courage to confess to her what he felt.
He felt trapped between his desire to be the loyal warrior Firestar needed and the deeper desire that burned in his chest.
He wanted to be her support, not just as a nephew, but as someone who understood her on a deeper level.
Finally, he just turned towards the path that would lead him back, but his fur bristled slightly, feeling something more lurking in the shadows kept him alert, uneasy about what he might find in the darkness.
As he took a deep breath, the cold forest air hit his face, and he felt reality envelop him once more. However, a sudden chill ran through his fur, as if a dark premonition invaded him.
That discomfort made him stop, the tension in his body intensified. It was at that moment, amid the rustling of leaves and the whisper of the wind, when he heard a voice.
“You shouldn’t meddle… in what you shouldn’t, little white cat.”
The voice, soft but threatening, seemed to emerge from the shadows themselves. Cloudtail quickly turned his head, his heart pounding, adrenaline coursing through his veins. He hadn’t seen anyone, but the feeling of being watched enveloped him like a spider’s web.
The warning, hissing and filled with unsettling mystery, echoed in his mind. Who had spoken? Was it a hidden enemy, a rival who had been stalking him? Or worse, was it someone from the clan, someone who knew more than they should?
His instinct led him to look in all directions, vainly searching for a figure that might have been spying on him. The air grew dense, and a palpable tension filled the atmosphere, as if the forest itself held its breath.
Every crack of the branches seemed amplified, every whisper of the wind reminding him that he was not alone in the darkness.
“…I must return to the clan now.”
In a final attempt to regain his composure, he took a deep breath, trying to silence the growing sense of danger. But he couldn’t help but look once more into the darkness, wondering who else might be lurking, waiting for the perfect moment to reveal themselves.
“I just need to focus on protecting her,” he thought once more, but this time, that phrase sounded hollow in his mind, overshadowed by fear and uncertainty.
***
The air in the ThunderClan camp was thick and tense, and the eyes of the warriors reflected the weariness of days of work and scarcity.
Firestar, despite being their leader, was not in her best form. She had been eating little, far less than her stomach needed, and her body showed it. She stood in the center of the camp, looking at the warriors gathered in small circles, murmuring about the lack of prey. Firestar, with an unnatural firmness, lifted her head to speak. Even with exhaustion dragging her down, she couldn’t afford to let the clan sense her weakness.
“It’s time to organize a new hunting party,” she said, her voice grave and decisive. “We need everyone to collaborate to bring something back for the clan.”
But when her eyes fell on Sandstorm, Sandstorm couldn’t help but notice the pallor of her leader. Her eyes, normally lively and bright, were dull, and her movements, though firm, lacked their former energy. Sandstorm furrowed her brow, concerned.
“Firestar,” she murmured, approaching slowly, “you’re not well. You’re exhausted, and I can see it. Let the rest of us go hunting. You stay here and rest.”
Firestar tried to smile, but the gesture came out forced. When was the last time I truly rested? she thought, but she didn’t want to show weakness, not in front of them.
“No, Sandstorm,” she replied, her voice harsher than intended. “I am the leader, and it is my responsibility… I can’t stay here while the others go out.”
Sandstorm didn’t accept that answer. She knew something was going on, and it wasn’t just about the hunt. Firestar had been too quiet lately, and her exhaustion wasn’t just physical. It was something more, something her eyes didn’t want to reflect. It was clear that the leader wasn’t eating well, and that would only worsen her health.
“I’m going to bring you some prey,” Sandstorm said, her tone firm. “You’ll stay here, and I’ll take care of the hunting. No more arguments.”
Before Firestar could protest, Sandstorm turned around and left immediately, heading towards the camp entrance to hunt. Firestar watched her go, but couldn’t help feeling a small sense of relief. She knew her friend was only trying to take care of her, but there was something inside her that couldn’t accept the rest. She was too used to being in charge, to being strong for her clan.
At that moment, Longtail, who had stayed nearby, approached with a disdainful look. His voice was low but clear when he said, “Do you really want to go hunting, Firestar? Really? Look at how you look.”
Firestar looked at him with an expression that barely hid her frustration. Is everyone going to question everything I do today? she thought. But before she could respond, Sandstorm reappeared, dropping a piece of prey at Firestar’s paws, and quickly approached Longtail.
“And you, shut up, you foolish cat!” she scolded with a sharp voice. “Don’t be stubborn! Come on, we’re going hunting. You have no choice.” And without waiting for a response, she grabbed Longtail by the ear with her teeth and dragged him towards the camp exit, completely ignoring his protests.
“Hey, let me go! I’m not going hunting if I don’t want to!” Longtail growled, trying to free himself, but Sandstorm was stronger and showed no signs of letting go.
Longtail kept grumbling, but Sandstorm’s strength forced him to follow her out of the camp, and with a frustrated look, both disappeared through the camp entrance, leaving Firestar alone, sitting amid her fatigue and thoughts.
Firestar watched the scene in silence, a small smile playing on her face as she saw Sandstorm handle the situation with such confidence. Although her tone and words were sometimes a bit harsh, Firestar knew her friends only wanted to help her. But inside, something didn’t fit.
Her eyes scanned the camp, observing the warriors gathered in small groups, talking in low voices about the lack of food. Although Firestar had spoken firmly earlier, there was something inside her that made her doubt. The spark that normally made her feel strong as a leader seemed to have faded.
She remembered the prey Brambleclaw had brought her in the morning, a fresh and juicy rabbit. At that moment, her hunger had disappeared for a while, grateful for his effort. But now, that taste was no longer enough. Her body kept asking for more, as if nothing could fill her.
“Why do I feel so hungry?” she thought, confused and a little scared.
Brambleclaw. His image appeared in her mind, like a soft and seductive shadow, as if he were watching her from somewhere. She remembered their encounter.
Quickly, she hit the ground and dragged her head through the dirt for a moment until she was calm, drawing the attention of everyone in the clan, but Firestar hadn’t noticed. She had become lost in her thoughts.
However, from a nearby corner, Cloudtail watched his aunt. He had returned shortly after following her and now noticed that Firestar was not in her best state.
Today, the camp was quieter than usual, as if all the cats were waiting for something that never came. The air was heavy with uncertainty, making it perfect for him to try. Brambleclaw was busy talking to Cinderpelt near the border, so Firestar was alone. It was an opportunity he couldn’t let pass.
Cloudtail slowly rose from his hiding spot, moving silently towards her. Firestar was resting near a rock, her breathing deep but her body still showing signs of tension, as if something invisible kept her alert even as she tried to relax.
He stopped a few steps away, observing her for a moment. There was something in her expression that mixed concern and something more, something he couldn’t ignore. He gathered his courage and spoke in a soft tone, almost a whisper:
“Firestar…” he said, trying not to startle her. “If you’re tired, you could go to your den to rest a bit more. No one will bother you there. If you want… I can help you get there.”
His voice hung in the air for a few seconds. Firestar opened her eyes abruptly, and realizing who was speaking to her, her body tensed instantly, as if something had awakened her from a too-deep sleep.
“I’m fine, I can go on my own… don’t bother.”
As she turned around, she accidentally hit Cloudtail with her tail, unintentionally exposing her vagina and anus. Firestar tells him to leave her alone.
Cloudtail, surprised and embarrassed, froze for a moment. His heart pounded, and a mix of emotions overwhelmed him. The sight left him breathless, but his animal instinct began to take control. With a mix of shyness and desire, he slowly approached, his rough and wet tongue licking the length of Firestar’s tail in a long, soft lick.
Firestar trembled, her paws giving way under the weight of unexpected pleasure. She fell to the grass, drooling and growling, completely at the mercy of the sensations Cloudtail’s tongue awoke in her.
Cloudtail, seizing the opportunity, continued licking eagerly, savoring every drop of Firestar’s fluids. Each lick was more intense than the last, his tongue exploring every nook and cranny, every fold, as Firestar’s taste became more intense and addictive. Cloudtail’s excitement grew with each second, his cock hardening…
In that instant, a ferocious roar tore through the air. Before he could react, a dark shadow crossed the clearing with the force of an unleashed storm. Brambleclaw emerged like lightning, his body tensed with fury, and his paw struck Cloudtail’s cheek with brutal force.
The white warrior was thrown to the ground, his body landing heavily a meter away. The earth beneath his paws trembled with the impact. Brambleclaw gave him no respite; with a fluid movement, he pounced on him like an implacable predator, his fangs bared in a growl that vibrated with rage.
“How dare you?!” Brambleclaw roared, his voice echoing with the reverberation of his contained fury. His eyes, burning like embers, fixed on the stunned Cloudtail. Without hesitation, he pinned his front paws against his chest, immobilizing him with a sharp blow that left the warrior gasping for air.
Meanwhile, Firestar remained in place, trembling, her fur bristling and her eyes shining, drooling slightly, taking a moment to understand what was happening.
Firestar, startled by the intensity of the scene, instinctively backed away, not realizing that her movement took her directly towards Darkstripe’s muzzle. The warrior, always attentive to any opportunity to cause discomfort, did not hesitate to react.
“Well, well…” Darkstripe purred, his voice laced with mockery and a dark insinuation.
Before Firestar could back away again, he slid his rough tongue along her neck in a deliberately provocative gesture. The leader trembled, her paws faltered, and a wave of unwanted submission washed over her.
“What… What are you doing?” Firestar murmured in a halting tone, trying to regain control of her body.
Darkstripe did not respond with words. Instead, he leaned closer to her, gently trapping the loose skin of her neck with his teeth, applying enough pressure to immobilize her. His paw firmly placed on her head, pushing her to the ground with a mix of authority and audacity.
“Stay still. You wouldn’t want to miss the show,” he whispered, forcing her to watch the brutal fight unfolding before them.
With her eyes fixed on the scene, Firestar felt humiliation burn in her chest as Darkstripe kept her subdued. The fight between Brambleclaw and Cloudtail seemed to intensify with each second, and she tried to move to say something, but she began to feel a cock hardening against her crotch, startling her, managing to see Darkstripe’s malevolent face above her.
Meanwhile, Cloudtail, panting as he tried to stand, looked up at Brambleclaw, who remained in front of him with tensed muscles and bristling fur, his chest heaving with agitation.
“Wait, wait!” Cloudtail blurted out with a huff, raising a paw as a sign of truce. “This… was a misunderstanding. It wasn’t what it looked like, I swear.”
Brambleclaw let out a low growl, barely controlling the fury raging within him. His amber eyes bore into the white warrior with scorching intensity.
“A misunderstanding?” he spat, his voice laced with venom. “It didn’t look like a misunderstanding when you had your muzzle on her!”
Cloudtail stood up unsteadily, baring his teeth in a defensive gesture while quickly licking a wound on his paw.
“And what about you?” he retorted, his eyes gleaming with defiance. “What are you doing going out alone with the leader? And don’t give me any nonsense about loyalty, because we all know what you use her for.”
The provocation sparked a dangerous gleam in Brambleclaw’s eyes. Without giving him time to react, he pounced on Cloudtail, sinking his fangs into the white warrior’s neck. A ferocious growl tore through the air as the force of the impact sent them rolling among dry leaves and twisted roots.
Cloudtail yowled in pain but did not stay still. With a sharp twist, he managed to grab Brambleclaw’s shoulder, closing his jaws tightly in an attempt to free himself. Both warriors fought with brutality, their bodies entwined in a fury that shook the clearing, while the scent of blood began to mix with the air.
From a distance, Brightheart watched the scene with her one remaining eye widened by fear and uncertainty. The ferocious growls between Cloudtail and Brambleclaw resonated in the clearing, their bodies entangled in a fight that sent leaves and dust flying through the air. Her heart pounded so fast it felt like it would burst out of her chest. She took a step back, slightly stumbling over a root, but before she could move away, she felt a firm tug that stopped her in her tracks.
Longtail, with a barely perceptible smile and a deep purr that seemed to vibrate in the air, held her tail between his teeth.
“Where do you think you’re going, Brightheart?” he murmured, his voice laced with deceptive softness.
She froze, rooted to the spot as if her paws were tied. She wanted to pull away, but Longtail’s pressure kept her immobile. His gaze was intense, dark, with a calculating gleam that made her feel small and defenseless. Slowly, he released her tail, but only to move closer. His muzzle slid against hers, almost brushing it, while his eyes scanned her face with a mix of mockery and something more dangerous.
“Look closely,” Longtail said, tilting his head towards the fight, not moving his body away from hers. “Do you really think he sees you as anything more than a shadow following him?”
Brightheart swallowed hard, her voice caught in her throat. She wanted to protest, to defend Cloudtail, but her gaze shifted to the clearing, where Cloudtail had managed to pin Brambleclaw to the ground with an aggressive move.
“I am the only one who has the right to be with Firestar!” Cloudtail roared, his fangs gleaming as he held Brambleclaw firmly.
Brightheart’s heart sank at hearing those words, a knot of humiliation and disappointment forming in her chest. Her body trembled as she tried to take a step towards them, wanting to intervene, but before she could even move, Longtail intercepted her.
With a quick movement, he pushed her to the ground, trapping her under his weight. Brightheart gasped, her back pressed against the cold earth while Longtail’s claws closed firmly around her hips.
“What do you think you’re doing?” she managed to murmur, her voice trembling between fear and confusion.
Longtail lowered his head, his muzzle inches from hers, his warm breath against her skin. His eyes, narrowed, looked at her as if he could see each of her doubts, each fracture in her resistance.
“Open your eyes, Brightheart,” he said, his voice low, almost a hypnotic purr, but there was a sharp edge to it. “He is not for you. He never was. How much longer will you let him use you as a consolation prize?”
She tried to look away, but Longtail held her firmly, forcing her to face his penetrating gaze. There was something in his eyes, a mix of desire and control, that made her shiver from head to toe.
“I… Cloudtail…” she began to stammer, her voice breaking as she looked back at the fight.
Cloudtail, at that moment, sank his fangs into Brambleclaw’s shoulder, who struggled to free himself. The growls intensified, and the tension in the air was almost suffocating.
Brightheart wanted to stand up, but Longtail pushed her down harder.
“You’re not going anywhere, understand?” he growled, his voice losing its feigned sweetness as his claws pressed against her fur.
She trembled under his grip, unable to find the right words. She wanted to fight, but her body did not respond; her mind was trapped between humiliation and fear.
“If you don’t understand the easy way…” Longtail whispered, leaning in until his muzzle brushed against hers with a chilling provocation. “You will the hard way.”
Longtail tightened his grip around Brightheart, his eyes gleaming with a mix of malice and desire. He pushed her to the ground, his paws firm and implacable. Brightheart’s eyes widened with surprise and fear as she felt his weight pressing down on her. His tail moved threateningly, a clear sign of his dominance.
Longtail leaned in, his hot breath against her face. He kissed her forcefully, his lips crushing hers with brutal intensity. Brightheart tried to turn her head, but his paws kept her firmly in place. She could feel his claws grazing her skin, sending shivers of terror down her spine.
He bit her neck, the sharp pain making her gasp. Then, he moved to her ear, his teeth sinking into the soft flesh, making her moan. Finally, he returned to her lips, this time sucking her lower lip, his tongue invading her mouth. Brightheart’s mind raced, her body trembling with a mix of fear and revulsion. She wanted to fight, to push him away, but her limbs felt heavy and unresponsive.
Longtail’s eyes bore into hers, a cruel smile playing on his lips. He wanted her to submit, to break under his touch. And he was succeeding… even if she didn’t want it.
But deep down, she closed her eyes, only to hear a crunch a few meters away.
Cloudtail had been thrown to the ground, panting and bloodied, his eyes filled with hate as he stared at Brambleclaw.
Firestar watched the scene, helpless, as she felt Darkstripe begin to fuck her with a wild brutality. Each thrust was a violent blow, his cock penetrating deep into her vagina, again and again, mercilessly.
Darkstripe panted, his hot, heavy breath against her ear, whispering obscenities.
“You’re so good…~, just like Cinderpelt said. You’re in heat and so easy to take.”
Each word was a stab in Firestar’s heart, her mind filled with disbelief and betrayal. Could her friend really expose her like this? But as she felt Darkstripe’s cock fucking her mercilessly, now spanking her hard in the process, she heard a loud bite in front of her.
Brambleclaw bit Cloudtail with animal ferocity, his teeth tearing through the flesh, blood gushing from the wound and staining his muzzle. Cloudtail let out a final scream of agony before his body collapsed, lifeless, his eyes still open in a gaze of eternal hate. Brambleclaw stood up, his gaze cold and ruthless, blood dripping from his mouth.
Firestar, still trapped under Darkstripe’s weight, felt a mix of horror and desperation. The brutality of the scene left her breathless, her mind struggling to process what was happening. Darkstripe, not stopping, continued to thrust with implacable force, his breathing ragged and his movements becoming faster and more violent. Firestar could feel each thrust, each blow, each gasp of pleasure from Darkstripe. Her body trembled, not just from the physical pain, but also from the betrayal and humiliation.
Firestar, with tears in her eyes, could do nothing but look at Brambleclaw, her mind filled with thoughts of revenge and desperation.
The scene became blurry, the pain and humiliation mixing in a storm of emotions that threatened to consume her completely. The smell of blood and sweat filled the air, and the sound of Darkstripe’s panting and the impact of his body against hers were the only things she could hear.
“This can’t be happening…”
“This can’t be happening…”
“This can’t be happening…”
“This can’t…!”
Before her, the answer to all her doubts became present, like a cold sigh that chilled her to the bone. Cloudtail’s lifeless body lay on the ground, a fallen figure in the shadow of the bushes, his life spilling out in a dark pool around him.
From the shadows, a figure emerged that chilled her blood: Tigerstar. His presence was a shadow itself, a monster made flesh. His eyes gleamed with overflowing fury, a rage contained for too long. He approached with the calm of a predator, his steps as silent as death itself. The air grew thick, charged with the fury of the fallen leader, his figure rising like a storm ready to ravage everything in its path.
“This is what will happen… when you let yourself be dragged by the heat of your clan,” Tigerstar growled, his voice a thunder in the stillness of the night. The words came out like a thunderclap, full of contempt, as if all the accumulated rage of years had finally exploded.
With a feline and precise movement, Tigerstar raised his paw and dug his claws into the neck of his own son, Brambleclaw. The young cat, who until then had been holding Cloudtail’s fallen body, let out a choked growl of pain and surprise.
Brambleclaw’s eyes, filled with confusion, met his father’s gaze, but Tigerstar’s look was implacable, ferocious, like a hunter who did not hesitate to claim what he considered his. The claws penetrated the flesh with terrifying ease, allowing a trickle of blood to flow from the wound. Brambleclaw trembled but had no time to react, his life hanging by the thread of his father’s fury.
Firestar, frozen in place, could only watch in horror. The beating of her own heart resonated in her ears as the weight of guilt pressed down on her. The air in her chest became dense, almost unbreathable.
Firestar felt the blood in her throat, hot and thick, as if Tigerstar’s words had pierced directly into her soul. She couldn’t help it. The image of Cloudtail, with his lifeless eyes and body, overlapped with the image of Brambleclaw, who struggled to free himself but couldn’t.
And then, in a fleeting instant, the pressure in her chest became unbearable. It was as if the air compressed, crushing her body, suffocating her thoughts, and in that moment, everything vanished.
Suddenly, the fog of the nightmare began to dissipate. Firestar woke up with a start, drenched in cold sweat. Her breathing was erratic, her body trembling, and the taste of blood still lingered on her tongue.
She looked around, searching for something, but all she found was the familiarity of her den.
She leaped from her bed, her paws quick and agitated, feeling the cold floor beneath her claws, and ran out of her refuge. In the dim light of dawn, she saw Cloudtail walking towards Cinderpelt with some herbs in his paws, showing no signs of the nightmare, oblivious to Firestar’s inner turmoil. In the background, Brambleclaw devoured a prey, looking at her with a smile that only he could show.
It had all felt so real… Her tail swayed from side to side, and she gradually stilled it, hiding her intimacy with seriousness. The clan was going through a tough time. It was time to take control.
No more Brambleclaw, no more Cloudtail… That nightmare had made it clear.
It was time to start taking matters into her own paws. She would never let the clan suffer again.
Cloudtail turned to look at his aunt as he saw her emerge from her den, noticing her more serious demeanor.
“Cloudtail!” And suddenly, she called him.
“Come… we need to talk.”
